Professor Liping Zhao is elected to the American Academy of Microbiology Fellow



Professor Liping Zhao has been elected to the American Academy of Microbiology Fellow recently.
The American Academy of Microbiology (Academy) is the honorific leadership group within the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the world's oldest and largest life science organization. The mission of the Academy is to recognize scientists for outstanding contributions to microbiology and provide microbiological expertise in the service of science and the public.
Professor Zhao is the third one elected to the AAM Fellow. Professor Zixin Deng(Shanghai Jiao Tong University) and professor Yiming Shao(Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention) were elected in 2010.
