报告摘要/Abstract

As the Senior Editor, Milka Kostic oversees the editorial process and is responsible for the overall direction, strategy and operations of two research journals published by Cell Press, "Chemistry & Biology" and "Structure". Dr Milka will discuss about scientific publishing.

Scientists spend a lot of time and effort in writing papers and trying to get them published. Unfortunately, the publishing process is often a source of frustration for authors and the goal of the presetation is to share some strategies that researchers can use to turn dissatisfaction into an accomplishment. In return, Dr Milka wants to hear from you and learn about your pain points, as well as successes. In its core, scientific publishing is a collaboration between authors, reviewers and editors, and the more we learn from each other the better we can work together to publish great research results and move the science forward.
