研究重点: 海洋共生微生物与极地、深海微生物生态学
上海交通大学二级教授,长聘教授,博士生导师,海南研究院副院长,南海海洋生物技术中心首席科学家。连续入选中国高被引学者(生物学),获海南省科技进步一等奖。教育部高等学校生物科学类专业教学指导委员会委员。上海市微生物学会海洋微生物专业委员会主任,中国生物化学与分子生物学海洋专委会常务委员,中国海洋湖沼学会理事,中国微生物学会海洋微生物专委会委员。主要从事海绵、珊瑚共生微生物与深海、极地微生物生态学研究;负责多项国家自然基金课题、国家重大科学发展计划课题、国家863计划项目。创建“细胞工程”国家精品课程、国家精品资源共享课程、国家一流本科课程,主编多本国家级规划教材,获全国首届教材建设奖与上海市优秀教学成果奖、育才奖。
