研究重点: 放线菌基因簇激活与天然产物挖掘的合成生物学
构建了涵盖链霉菌、拟无枝酸菌与糖多孢菌等稀有放线菌的一系列优质底盘菌株,用于异源表达来源于不同种类放线菌的沉默基因簇,获得多个结构新颖的聚酮类与非核糖体肽类生物活性天然产物。建立了微生物大片段基因组文库的高通量异源表达与功能筛选体系(LEXAS),从中发掘出新型V型羊毛硫肽合成酶基因簇及其抗MRSA活性新抗菌肽产物lexapeptide。开发了大型基因簇的人工进化高产育种技术,显著提升了纳他霉素等抗生素工业生产菌株的发酵效价。在Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Metabolic Engineering等期刊发表SCI论文50余篇,申请发明专利11项。
