研究重点：
天然产物生物合成与结构酶学
致力于天然产物合酶的结构功能研究，主攻聚酮合酶（PKS）与非核糖体肽合成酶（NRPS）。研究以冷冻电镜等结构生物学技术为核心，辅以生物化学与计算方法，旨在原子级别阐明这些巨型酶的催化机理，并探索其功能改造潜力，为合成生物学提供理论指导与元件库。作为主要通讯作者在《Nature Communications》、《Natural Product Reports》、《Structure》等主流期刊发表论文二十余篇。相关多个工作被《Nature Communications》重点推荐，被《Natural Product Reports》选为封面，并得到《Nature Chemical Biology》的全文专题评述。
主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，并作为骨干负责国家重点研发计划课题；曾承担973计划、863计划等国家重大专项子课题，并参与国家自然科学基金重点项目、上海市重点项目等多项国家级与省部级课题。
