研究重点: 合成生物学;微生物代谢工程;应用环境微生物技术; 环境化学生物学

上海交通大学特聘教授(2008-),曾任山东大学教授(1998-2012),中科院微生物研究所百人计划研究员(2005-2008)。从事环境与工业微生物应用基础研究,研究方向为微生物分解代谢、微生物代谢工程、合成生物学等。已经授权国内发明专利151项,国际发明专利7项。在领域有影响的刊物如在PNAS、Nat Commun、Angew Chem、JACS、mBio、J Biol Chem、Mol Microbiol等重要刊物发表论文200多篇,高被引微生物学家,据Google Scholar搜索,论文引用15,870次,H影响因子70。研究成果得到国际同行较好的认可,在2014年、2015年和2019年被美国医学生物工程院(AIMBE)、美国发明家科学院(NAI)、美国微生物科学院(AAM)甄选为Fellow。
